TESTIMONIALS

“Core Control was first used at MIS in 80 degree air temperature, 110 degrees on the pavement. Crews wear full fire suit and full-face helmet. I got to use the CoreControl system after about a mile run down pit road to go make a position verification. After the run, I was exhausted and had no energy, but after using the CoreControl system in a matter of a couple of minutes I was full of energy and ready to go again. It felt like I never ran in the first place. The CoreControl system felt like it cooled my body from the inside out and my face and my entire body felt much cooler and I was much more relaxed and not out of breath from the heat in a full fire suit. I also used it after each stop and afterwards I never felt like I never did anything in the first place. This CoreControl system by AVAcore is a wonderful product and should be brought to auto racing. It did wonders for the pit crew on a hot summer day and kept us more motivated and mentally stable. Overall, this system is great.”
“The crew of the number 84 included Norm Benning, the driver, who used the system before he got into the car and said over the radio to us when he started to race he felt he had a lot of energy and his body temperature felt much cooler. Greg Seevers the jack man used it after the pit stops and felt like he never even made a pit stop. Tim Schultz used the CoreControl after the pit stop as a front tire carrier and felt much more relieved.”

"I first used CoreControl during Race Across America, cycling up to 22 hours per day for 8-12 days. Using CoreControl allows me to keep my body from ever overheating. In temperatures exceeding 100 degrees I am able to cool and feel as if I am starting the day over again with my original energy level. There are days where I participate in more than one race. Cooling between races makes me feel as if each race is my first. It makes me feel 100% better. I now use it for weight training for 1-5 minutes between sets as well and have seen the benefits in the gym. CoreControl makes you feel like you’ve just begun again.”

“There is no doubt in my mind that RTX works and has allowed me to set new personal bests when that should not have been possible.”

“CoreControl is used for 2-5 minutes at a time. For cramping it takes 1 treatment then they’re usually fine. Sometimes, rarely, 2 or 3 treatments are needed. The players like using CoreControl during breaks between the first and second half of practice“
“As a result of body core cooling with the RTX glove, no athlete required IV saline treatments for dehydration throughout the entire season.
“We never needed to treat a single case of heat-related illness for the entire season.”
“ALL developing muscle cramps completely responded to one or two treatments with the RTX glove.”
“Throughout the entire season we had no episodes of cramp recurrence and none of our athletes developed complete body cramping symptoms.

“We use CoreControl primarily for the prevention and treatment of episodic cramping. We have about 20-25 athletes using the device, primarily football players. This year we had no heat-related I.V.s and we avoided having to bring in physicians for these episodes. CoreControl is easy to use, travels well, and gets the job done. Basically, we were able to return people to play with the cramping recurring. I would definitely recommend CoreControl for other programs.”

“CoreControl is used for heat stress prevention caused by both the environment and protective clothing. We have a unit set up in a clinic. One gentleman showing signs of heat stress used the device and within a few minutes we managed to avoid a dangerous and expensive incident: He was back to normal. I have sat with the device where workers exit the radiation-controlled area. I chose guys who were hot and almost every one claimed to feel better and refreshed after cooling. We also use the device in our fire college. During training, it is used at intervals for cooling. Your body recovers from heat much quicker with CoreControl.”
“I really appreciate the loan, several people used it at the end of a power outage (including myself) while the unit was heating up. The recovery time from the heat environment was much quicker, also I felt like the recovery from the heat was much faster than normal and I didn’t feel drained the rest of the night like I normally would. “
“Thanks for loaning the clinic the rapid thermal core temperature control exchange system. We had the opportunity to use it several times during the outage with great results. A particular case comes to mind at the beginning of the outage where the core temp system came in handy on a heat stress patient that recuperated within 15 minutes.

“CoreControl is used during games and two-a-day practices for 2-3 minutes or as needed. It has reduced and/or eliminated cramping and seems to have a calming effect on players. During our game again University of Florida 3 years ago it was about 94 degrees out with a heat index of 110 degrees or more. We were behind 23-3. I felt that CoreControl helped maintain them through the game and helped us win that game.”
“The guys were fighting over it. They were saying, ‘Let me have it! Let me use it! I love it!’ It was a way for us to cool the guys down. I really believe the unit helped us win that ball game.” – excerpt from Heather Millar’s article titled “Cold Plays” from Southwest Airlines Spirit Magazine
